Trading-Glossar

Swing Trading

Strategies

Was es bedeutet

A style where you hold trades for days to weeks, aiming to capture medium price swings. Less screen time than day trading, but with overnight risk.

Beispiel

A swing trader buys a stock at $100 on Monday after a pullback to support, sets a stop at $95 and a target at $115, and exits on Thursday when the target hits -- a 4-day trade.

Der häufigste Anfängerfehler

Beginners swing trade without sizing for overnight risk. A surprise gap down can blow through your stop, so swing positions must be smaller than day-trade positions to survive gaps.
