Triangle

Technical Analysis

Was es bedeutet

A continuation pattern where price makes lower highs and higher lows, squeezing into a point. A break of one side hints the next move direction.

Beispiel

A stock bounces between $50 and $55, then $51 and $54, then $52 and $53. The converging lines form a triangle; a break above $53 or below $52 sets the next move.

Der häufigste Anfängerfehler

Beginners guess the breakout direction before it happens. Triangles can break either way; the trade is the breakout, not the prediction.
