Paper Trading

Paper Trading Simulator

Practice with virtual money on real market data. No signup, no real money, no risk.

Simulation only. This is a learning tool using virtual funds. Prices are real (CoinGecko, ~30s delayed refresh) but no real orders are placed. Data stored in your browser (localStorage).

📋 How to use this simulator (4 steps) +
  1. 1 Pick a coin from the list on the left (e.g., BTC or ETH). The current price loads automatically.
  2. 2 Choose direction & size — Long (buy) if you expect the price to rise, Short (sell) if you expect it to fall. Enter the amount in USD.
  3. 3 Monitor your position in the right panel. Unrealized P&L updates every 30 seconds. Close the position to lock in the result.
  4. 4 Journal every trade — scroll down to the Trade Journal section. Log your reasoning and emotions. Review weekly to find your edge.

No journal entries yet

The journal is the single highest-leverage habit a beginner can build. Log your first trade — paper or real, win or loss — to start turning experience into feedback.

The simulator uses simulated funds and market data that may be delayed. It is for educational practice only — not real trading.
