Fear Of Missing Out: the urge to jump into a trade because you see it rising and cannot stand watching others profit while you sit out.
Ejemplo
A stock you considered at $100 is now $130 after a 30% run. You buy in panic at $131 -- exactly when the move is exhausting -- and watch it fall back to $110.
Error común de principiantes
Beginners chase extended moves out of FOMO and enter with no plan or stop. By the time the move is obvious enough to feel "unmissable," it is usually late.
