How is net P/L different from gross P/L?

Gross P/L only counts the price move. Net P/L subtracts all trading costs: commission, spread, swap and slippage.

How is the break-even price calculated?

For longs, break-even = entry + total costs ÷ size. For shorts, break-even = entry − total costs ÷ size.

ROI = net P/L ÷ (entry price × position size) × 100%.

Calculate the real profit after all trading costs.
